The Taiwan Tourism Administration has launched the Taiwan Specialist Program, a new initiative aimed at strengthening ties between Taiwan and the Indian tourism sector. Taiwan is a major destination for Indian travellers, and this innovative e-learning program is designed to educate and empower Indian travel professionals about its many attractions.
The program, titled “Time For Taiwan”, consists of nine comprehensive modules that cover a wide range of topics, including MICE incentives, Indian restaurants and venues, travel options, accommodation choices, cultural insights, and visa requirements. Through interactive webinars and interesting content, attendees will learn vital information about Taiwan.
Participants undergo an extensive Q&A session after finishing each module successfully to assess their understanding and proceed to the next module. Those who receive a score of 70% or above are eventually certified by the Taiwan Tourism Administration with the esteemed title of “Taiwan Specialist.”
The Taiwan Tourism Administration sponsors special events and rewards for certified specialists. These include chances to win exciting prizes such as Fam trip to Taiwan, electronic gadgets, and Taiwan tourism hampers, among other things.
The objective of this program is to provide Indian travel industry experts with the necessary knowledge and resources to promote and see Taiwan as a top tourism destination.
Mr. Noel Saxena, who represents the Taiwan Tourism Administration in India, expressed his excitement by saying, “We are delighted to launch the Taiwan Specialist Program, which highlights our commitment to establishing partnerships with Indian travel professionals. We hope to enhance their ability to present Taiwan’s unique offerings to Indian tourists by providing them with comprehensive information about the country.”
The Taiwan Specialist Program is currently accepting applications, providing Indian travel industry professionals with an unparalleled opportunity to earn certification as specialists in promoting Taiwan.
