Compass Expeditions’ off-road tours get a permanent price drop – Travel Weekly

Compass Expeditions has announced a move to make its off-road tours more accessible to a wider audience.

In partnership with tourism representation company Evolution Travel Collective (ETC), Compass Expeditions has taken steps to ensure a seamless booking process with agency partners.

Recognising the evolving dynamics of the travel industry, Compass Expeditions has negotiated increased savings with its supply partners on the ground, enabling the motor adventure company to extend more affordable pricing across its range of tours. These adjustments aim to make Compass’ tours more inclusive and appealing to a diverse range of customers, particularly to families and those interested in multi-generational bookings.

Ben Willox, managing director of Compass Expeditions, said: “Our collaboration with ETC has been instrumental in shaping our understanding of market dynamics. We’ve taken on their feedback wholeheartedly, recognising the importance of making our tours more accessible to a wider audience.

“Our commitment is not just about reducing prices but ensuring that more people can embark on the incredible adventures that Compass Expeditions are known for.”

Ingrid Berthelsen, ETC’s managing director & co-founder, added: “This move, in addition to the recent launch of their agent booking portal, further solidifies Compass Expeditions’ commitment to agents in the Australian market.”

Compass Expeditions 4WD tours are now available to book for departures next year with the first tour, Kyrgyzstan Discovered, departing 4 August 2024.
