An eight-day super vacation, including the one-day Mid-Autumn Festival and seven-day National Day holiday from Sept 29 to Oct 6, is approaching and the Chinese tourism market is booming.
The railway ticket booking system 12306 showed that the tickets for some popular routes” are now sold out for Sept 29, such as Beijing-Xi’an, Shanghai-Hefei and Guangzhou-Changsha.
By Sept 13, the booking volume of tourism products during the super vacation surged 4 times from same period of last year, according to the online travel agency Ctrip. Moreover, the figure saw an increase of 6 times at the online travel agency Fliggy.
